Do The Crime You Do The... Job???

Even though I'm in the process of rebuilding my site, every now and then I run past a story that I just can't pass up sharing; case and point...

In Headlines today, (doesn't that always sound so professional???) The Atlanta Post is exposing corporate America for their foul play in what has been known to be an age old practice, openly accepted and exercised in our fine legal system for over half a century; Prison Labor Laws.

According to the Post, predominantly consumer driven corporation's have as of recent opted to put the unethical laws made famous by the Bush's into play for themselves, due to the current climate of the economy of course.

Hmmm.... Does this even need further comment from me?

King Biopic Gets Nod For The Silverscreen!!!

After what seemed like an eternity, Dreamworks has finally aquired the rights to Martin Luther King's life story! Set to be produced by Steven Spielberg, I predict this to be a film of epic proportions (Oscar maybe?). I'm a huge fan of Spielberg and have the utmost confidence that he will translate King's legacy very well from page to screen. Remember, he was responsible for Alice Walker's The Color Purple! We'll see, I'm just glad the King is getting his just due.

Lauren London And Lil Wayne Baby Rumors Confirmed???

Bossip seems to be standing by their "very high placed source's" information confirming that rap superstar Lil Wayne, and actress/model Lauren London are expected a baby in the near future. I don't sort I just report baby!!!

What If This Were Your Child?

This is why the relationship between the average African American and the judicial system is tainted. Somebody please tell me what is it that a 14 year old kid could have possibly done to deserve this? And the system wonders why we buck! F*** THE POLICE!!!
